The original concept for the main menu was to showcase a predetermined scene of the last level that was played, or in the case of the new game, the first level. Unfortunately this had to be shelved due to time constraints.
We were going to feature fully customisable emblem creation for the player’s Foundation/Company. These were to feature prominently on the UI as well as in various locations and props around the campus map. Unfortunately this had to be shelved due to time constraints.
Two Point Campus Front End
Throughout the development cycle of Two Point Campus, I was supporting the UI designer with mock ups and implementation of menus used throughout the game.
The idea was that the main menu and pause where considered the “OS” of the campus, while the menus in game were based on filing and administration software, but with a fun Two Point twist to them.
We wanted to incorporate some slight animation to assets as they came into view, but add nice little bounces and warping to give it that playful feel.
